STUDENT GROUP Three.

Well… where do we go from here?

REAL QUICK

Think about popular fictional superheroes, which super power would be the most annoying to have?

Start by reading this prompt together.

These experiences are only a beginning.

Oh how I wish every question could be answered, every worry be calmed, every ailment be cured. I so wish that events like THRV WKND could be the solution to the thing that aches in our soul. And in some ways, they can be, but the issue isn’t over, the solution has just begun.

By the grace of God, our sins can be washed away through faithful repentance and baptism. But not to place a limit on the capacity of God’s grace, we need to wrestle with this: our relationship with Jesus is not one-and-done. Sure, sin is washed away in a manner beyond our comprehension, but the daily renewal of your life by His mercy is an ongoing process.

Whether a mountain, a valley, or any mundane place in between, God is more than able to inhabit those spaces for something good. Let this experiences be the start of something new that God is doing within you.

Use these questions to guide your discussion!

TIME TO Talk About It.

What is something that has surprised you about this weekend?

Where is your mundane? & what could you do to leverage that for God to do the extraordinary?

What are you most looking forward to about the near-future? About these next few months?

What do you think…

where is an unusual place that you have seen the goodness of God?

Time to REFLECT

At the end of the Student Group sessions, this is your time to talk about the sessions so far. Think about things like:

  • What has stuck out to you from the sessions?

  • Is there anything that you really needed to hear?

  • How has a topic or session challenged you?

  • Is there a thought, verse, or idea that you want to make sure you remember?

  • What do you wish was talked about more?

TIME TO PRAY

Pick one person, or multiple people, to pray for the group. Thank god for the experiences we get to share with each other and ask God to help us make the most of this weekend.

You’re done!

Check in with your group leader to see what comes next.
